Languages
Alexandre Riou works mainly in company law and business litigation. After gaining experience at Willkie Farr & Gallagher and Gondran de Robert, he joined 186 | AVOCATS as a partner in 2018. He advises business people and investors in the context of their funding rounds (seed capital, series A and B), and their external growth, restructuring and disposals.
He also represents clients in the civil and commercial courts in disputes between shareholders or litigation concerning unfair competition and commercial disagreements, etc. He has extensive expertise in insolvency proceedings and business criminal law.
Additionally, he works on complex inheritance disputes and cases concerning the art market.
He is registered with the bar associations of Nantes and New-York and manages the firm’s London office.
